Forget David Blaine — finally, a New York publicity stunt we can appreciate:
Blender magazine will not sleep until a world record is set for repeatedly listening to the worst song ever. Starship’s 1985 smash hit “We Built This City” was chosen by Blender editors as the worst song ever in an issue last year and it will be played at least 324 times over a grueling 24 hours!
Contributor Russ Heller is to be encased in a Plexiglas booth — without earplugs — beginning Friday at 8:00 a.m.
