Forbes came out with its annual rich guy watch-list today.
Twenty years ago, there were only some 140 billionaires. Three years ago? 476. And this year the Forbes list hit a record: 793 billionaires. (Among them: David Geffen at #140 with $4.4 billion; George Lucas at No. 194 with $3.5 billion, and Steven Spielberg, tied with Haim Saban at No. 245 with $2.8 billion a piece)
We dream of a time not to far in the future where there are a thousand billionaires for the world’s six billion people.
In other words, the tax cuts are working, people.
