Via BayNewser: Beet-TV, which covers Internet video from its home base in New York, has hired SanFran-based Daisy Whitney as a regular contributor.
Whitney will post several times a week, while maintaining her other writing and reporting commitments (for TVWeek, MediaPost, and others). “I have been a big fan, reader, of this site for a few years now,” she said in her welcome video.
That’s one reporter fewer in the dole line, right? Great news!
