Bauer Media announced this week that they are planning to produce a new style magazine for men, Project Rex. The magazine will feature topical news stories as well as lifestyle coverage, from clothing and gadgets to cars and design. In addition to its forthcoming print issue, the brand hopes to create a digital presence a digital presence through on the web through its own site, newsletter and Facebook page.
More than 500,000 copies of the 60-page one-off pilot issue will be distributed among affluent, style-conscious men in their 30s — the magazine’s target demographic — beginning October 26th through Bauer titles like Q, Mojo, Empire, Car, Golf World and Grazia (whose predominantly female readers Bauer hopes will recommend to their male friends and more-than-friends.
