Another Week, Another Gross Misuse of the 'Gate' Suffix

To all those hashtagging with #TattooGate a duly noted issue involving a certain consumer product (the Apple Watch) and infinitesimal group of users (people with wrist and arm tattoos), cut it out! We can only reclaim the original meaning of the “gate” suffix as envisioned by the late William Safire if we stop constantly trivializing it.
