Angie Martinez Joins Power 105
Well that was quick. One day after abruptly leaving Hot 97, Angie Martinez is joining its rival, Power 105. Martinez, who had been with the Hot 97 family for over 20 years, will now be the voice of Power 105 weekdays from 2 pm to 6 pm.
“Angie has a long, successful history and we look forward to expanding her distinctive style and compelling content to more of our listeners,” said Thea Mitchem, Clear Channel’s senior VP of programming for major markets, said in a statement.
