American Idol is Back on Top of Weekly Ratings

The Super Bowl and Grammys are long over. The Oscars are coming up this weekend. So, for now, it’s back to “normal” atop the weekly prime time ratings. Fox’s American Idol led the way with the top two programs for the week.

The Wednesday night Idol had an estimated 990,000 viewers on WNYW/Channel 5 with a 5.0 rating, according to Nielsen. The following night’s Idol registered 953,000 viewers and a 4.9 rating.

The NBA All-Star Game on TNT had a third-place finish with a 926,000 fans and a 4.7
