After Fury Over Furry W Cover, Christina Ricci Says She Won't Be Furred Again*
Actress Christina Ricci appeared on the September cover of W clad in fur. Her fansite, ChristinaRicci.info, was deluged with animal-loving barbs, and was shut down by its owner last week. Now the actress has made a hairpin turn, declaring herself fur free to PETA.
Via E!: “After being named on the PETA worst dressed list for wearing fur on the cover of W magazine, I have been deluged with angry and disappointed fans,” Ricci wrote in an email on Saturday to PETA’s Dan Mathews.
