Accuser Recants Sex Allegations Against Elmo Actor
The man who accused Kevin Clash — the actor behind Sesame Street’s Elmo character — of engaging in an underage sexual relationship with him has recanted the claim.
Andreozzi & Associates, a firm that was hired by the accuser, said in a statement that the accuser “wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship. He will have no further comment on the matter.”
Clash has been on a leave of absence from Sesame Street.
