826's Time Travel Mart Opens In LA

Have we before oohed and aahed over TED prize-winning Dave Eggers‘ 826 mentoring centers-slash-retail stores before? Of course we have. Do we get a huge kick out of the San Francisco pirate supply store, or the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.? Definitely. But when the Echo Park Time Travel Mart opened in our hometown this past weekend, well, our allegiances shifted. Most of all because we love the store tagline: “Whenever you are, we were already then.”
