79-Year-Old Actor Rip Torn Pleads Guilty to Bank Break-In
OK, we sometimes feel dirty about posting celebrity stories. But this one is too bizarre not to mention. Emmy Award-winning actor Rip Torn plead guilty in Connecticut yesterday to charges of reckless endangerment, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and illegal carrying a firearm. Apparently, Torn got wasted one night and broke into a bank, armed!
The guy is 79!
Even crazier, he didn’t get jail time. Torn got three years probation and a 2 1/-2 year suspended sentence.
Here’s hoping Torn gets his act together, because he is an amazing comedic actor.
