K-Earth 101’s Shotgun Tom Kelly Thrilled with Hollywood Honor
The best way to understand why radio host Shotgun Tom Kelly was among last week’s announced 2013 honorees for a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is to take a look at his official career timeline.
He started out with KDEO San Diego in 1966 and has been with LA’s K-Earth 101 since 1997. In between, there have been a dozen and a half other stations in San Diego, Merced, Oxnard, Bakersfield, San Francisco and Phoenix.
