Fortune’s annual “Fortune 500” issue hits newsstands today, and one thing worth noting is that it’s a female-friendly collection. Setting a record for the list, there are 18 companies featured that are directed by female CEOs. Okay, so maybe 18 out of 500 isn’t exactly “female-friendly;” it’s more female acquaintance. However, it’s progress!
