WTOP Listeners Lash Out At WaPo
WTOP reports this weekend that some of its listeners are none too pleased with WaPo‘s promotional poster of National’s star pitcher Stephen Strasburg.
The promotional requires subscribers to write in for it and requires about three weeks delivery. Otherwise readers could purchase a copy instantly at regular newspaper price wherever WaPo is sold.
A WTOP listener says she canceled her WaPo subscription over the ordeal (and we use the word “ordeal” loosely as this wasn’t a Metro train wreck or anything.).
