WTOP Hires New Anchor
WTOP has hired Mike Murillo as a new full-time anchor and reporter.
Most recently he was a news anchor and reporter at Merlin’s IQ 106.9 in Philadelphia, where he was also a studio tech and web and social media manager.
“Like many in this business, for years I have admired WTOP from afar. I am truly excited to now, become a member of this amazing news team,” Murillo said in a statement.
He begins his new gig today.
