Wanna learn how to knit? Unless you have a time machine that can transport you back to 1910, of course you don’t. But if you had a time machine you could travel back to when Deborah Norville was relevant (about 15-20 years ago) and then you would care about the story in this week’s “In The Know” column in The Hill.
Norville, former NBC News personality and current Inside Edition host want to teach Sasha and Malia Obama and Ann Romney how to knit. Seems she loves knitting, crocheting and sewing, and even brags about her abilities being responsible for her career, saying, “My career is because I sewed my own clothes. When I was a senior in high school, I was in the America’s Junior Miss Pageant … you had to have a talent to be in Junior Miss. I had no discernible talent. I was too scared to sing in front of people, I don’t tap-dance, I can’t twirl batons, I can’t play the piano. The only thing I could do was demonstrate my sewing ability, so I did.”
By the way, there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor that her sewing abilities are currently suing her for blaming her career on them.
