Where Are They Now? Bush's Press Office

Former Deputy Assistant Press Secretary to Pres. George Bush, Pete Seat, who spent his time in the White House corralling the media, is now trying his hand on our side.

Seat now has a column his local newspaper, the Northwest Indiana and Illinois Times that will run every other Thursday.

His first column “Remembering 43: The Trailblazer” tackles a question posed by Stephen Colbert, “Is George W. Bush a great president or the greatest president?”

Whether in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One or at the president’s Crawford, Texas, ranch, I saw a man that embodied his Secret Service code name, Trailblazer.
