What’s Matthew Boyle Tweeting?

It’s a question not often asked, but we’re asking it today. The Daily Caller’s scribe Matthew Boyle is an avid tweeter, and an avid retweeter. So let’s see what he’s been up to. With today’s news that the House of Representatives is suing Attorney General Eric Holder to get him to release hidden documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal, Boyle has been tweeting furiously about that. He wrote: “Choom Gangbusters: Book: Eric Holder went on 'Reefer Madness'-like campaign to distract from #FastandFurious: http://thedc.com/Pi7LKG” That’s a nice reference to President Obama’s dope-smoking gang there, Matt. Well played. But it’s not all White House scandal, it’s also Hollywood stupidity. Eva Longoria, famous for having been on a TV show that isn’t on TV anymore, now bills herself in her Twitter bio as an “Actress" (questionable), "Activist" (meaningless), and "Philanthropist" (which I’d guess includes showing up to charity and campaign fundraisers, not actually doing things). Somehow she tweeted about Mitt Romney’s selection of Paul Ryan as his VP pick. She wrote, “Romney’s VP pick voted against equal pay for women and repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. We can’t go backward.” She added a link to Obama for America info. After all, she's officially part of the Hispanic Outreach team for the President’s reelection effort, a position she is qualified for by birth, not accomplishment or ability. Boyle, ever snarky, tweeted back to her, “Hey @EvaLongoria - you are aware, right, that Obama has paid women in his own White House less than men? http://bit.ly/OTHpy0." Eva, busy doing whatever it is untalented Hollywood types do on a Sunday afternoon, did not reply. Poor Matt. I doubt, however, Ms. Longoria has heard the last of him.
