Washingtonpost.com Managing Editor Resigns

I regret to announce that Tom Kennedy has decided to leave washingtonpost.com. Tom, who is recognized throughout the industry as a pioneer in multimedia journalism, joined the Web site in 1998 and quickly began to transform the way we approached visual journalism. In the first year, he laid out a vision to experiment with video and audio storytelling as well as make full use of still photography coming from Post newspaper photographers and wire services.
