Washington is for Seersucker Lovers
There’s no easy way to say this, but seersucker should be banned. They cut the fabric into suits, shorts, shirts, skirts and robes and they’re all ugly. The light weight. The goofy stripes. The fact that it conjures up memories of that ridiculous Huckabee family photograph where all the males are in forced stripes.
To make this all a lot worse, in Washington there is “Seersucker Thursday” and it’s this Thursday as temperatures are expected to soar to a sweltering 97 degrees.
