STAFF NEWS: JOSE ANTONIO VARGAS LEAVING
It is with great regret that I report to you that Jose Antonio Vargas is leaving us to join the Huffington Post as technology and innovations editor.
Jose, who wrote authoritatively about the marriage of politics and the Internet during the 2008 campaign and beyond, has been a force for change and innovation since coming to the Post as a summer intern in 2003.
Jose has reported deeply on AIDS and video culture, written a fascinating online column (The Clickocracy), and was among those who shared a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Virginia Tech massacre.
We will miss his energy and passion, but wish him well.
