WaPo's Mary C. Curtis Named Finalist by National Society of Newspaper Columnists
The National Society of Newspaper Columnists (NSNC) named finalists for its 2014 annual column contest and just one person from the Washington media is among the list. The Washington Post’s Mary C. Curtis is one of three finalists in the “Online, Blog and Multimedia Columns” category for those with more than 100,000 monthly unique visitors, alongside LA Weekly’s Gendy Alimurung and the late movie critic and blogger Roger Ebert.
Curtis contributes to The Washington Post “She the People” blog – for which she was nominated – as well as TheRoot.com,
