WaPo Video Editor Leaves for Teaching Job

WaPo is losing video editor Steven King at the end of June. He won’t be going to another publication, but rather, will start a teaching career at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he will teach multimedia.

The internal memo says that over the past year, the video team directed by King has created “compelling” video journalism, “experimented with several shows and formats, and has brought in significant number of new viewers to Post content.”
