U.S. News & World Report Seeks Web-Savvy Deputy Editor

If you have your finger on the pulse of Washington, listen up. U.S. News & World Report is looking for a deputy editor for its Politics & Policy channel to direct coverage of Congress, the White House, federal agencies and other national policy topics.

The editor will plan, assign and edit stories and media for the title’s digital magazine, U.S. News Weekly, and for the Web. You should have expert knowledge of campaigns, elections, lobbying and legislation, but those who are comfortable with foreign policy and other national issues will have an edge on the competition.

The ideal candidate should have five years of editing experience with a national publication or major news site, and be a master of SEO and Web metrics.
