Earlier today, The Atlantic hosted its Health Care Forum bringing together “experts in medicine, public health, policy, and finance to examine the condition of the nation’s health care and prescribe policies for its improvement.”
The day featured conversations like “Building a Better Health Care System” with experts from the American Medical Association, WellPoint, and Brookings; “Preventing Prescription Drug Abuse” with Michael Botticelli, deputy director of National Drug Control Policy at the White House; and a one-on-one interview with between the Director of the Domestic Policy Council, Cecilia Munoz, and AtlanticLIVE’s Editor-in-Chief Steve Clemons. LIVESTRONG CEO Doug Ulman, a three time cancer survivor, also sat for a post-lunch Q&A with Associate Editor Olga Khazan.
