Tompkins Says Goodbye
UPI’s Richard Tompkins sent the following farewell letter to his White House colleagues today (earlier):
Dear colleagues and friends: As some of you now know, UPI is downsizing again. The White House position has been given the ax, and that means me as well.
Working with y’all has has been an honor and privilege. You’re a fine bunch of journalists, a fine bunch of people. I wish you all happy trails.
