TIME Snags Reuters' Political Scribe

TIME‘s Managing Editor Rick Stengel announced the new hire of Sam Jacobs in a morning memo. Jacobs was most recently a national political correspondent for Reuters. He will be a senior editor at Time.com. Stengel is quite congratulatory, but he does give him crap about his Boston roots, saying, “A graduate of Harvard and an obsessed Bostonian, Sam will happily bore you about all things New England.”
