Ryan Thornburg has joined U.S.News & World Report as managing editor for usnews.com. As the M.E. at CQ.com at Congressional Quarterly, Ryan directed the daily operations for CQ’s online news and information services. Prior to joining Congressional Quarterly a year ago, Ryan was the editor in charge of national and foreign news at washingtonpost.com, where he led the site’s coverage of the 2004 presidential election, the Iraq war and the unveiling of “Deep Throat.”
