The left has Media Matters. The right now has TruthRevolt, a new website launched today by Breitbart News Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro whose mission statement includes the following declaration: “The media must be destroyed where they stand.”
Are we facing Armageddon here?
If the mission statement sounds threatening, it’s meant to.
Those in the right-wing media routinely throw around words and phrases like “fight” and “warrior” and “fighting the good fight.” Shapiro’s statement says, “The goal of TruthRevolt is simple: unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases.
