This Week's Best Letter To The Editor

I propose a $15 billion bailout for the newspaper business. Isn’t the press part of the foundation of our democracy? If we didn’t have newspapers and the in-depth reporting they provide, how could we make informed decisions on all the other bailouts Congress is considering? And think of all the editors, writers, photographers, graphic designers, printers, paper deliverers, etc., who stand to lose their jobs if the papers go under. Why $15 billion? I don’t know .
