The Washington Post's Motto
We recently saw Bob Woodward on C-SPAN, and he said that one of the newsroom mottos at the Post is “All good work is done in defiance of management.”
>UPDATE: Even though Woodward did call it a Post newsroom motto, one tipster writes in to say that perhaps Woodward just wishes it was a newsroom motto. “Uh, that’s not a Post motto — that’s a Woodward motto. He’s been spouting it for YEARS. Seriously. Like, since God was a little kid.”
