You’ve likely seen the stories flying around today about ABC’s Jake Tapper and his emails to Governor Mark Sanford’s communications director, Joel Sawyer the day before the Governor announced his affair. They were published by The State newspaper in South Carolina.
Here are the cliffs notes:
One email had a subject line: “NBC spot was slimy.” The body stated “For the record, I think the TODAY show spot was pretty insulting…”
In another email he forwarded a tweet from MTP‘s David Gregory:
U should be concerned when “your wife” says that she doesn’t know where you are but isn’t concerned
