The Post And Kids These Days

The Washington City Paper’s Erik Wemple takes the Post to task — yet again (we’re starting to actually believe that it’s part of his job description) — this week, knocking the paper for its lame attempts at appealing to young readers (a move Wemple believes is motivated by the paper’s declining circulation).

His ammo:

  • Articles such as the the Nov. 18 front-page article “Who Shot Cam’ron?” that employed such “I’m Hip, I Can Dig It” language as “blinged out,” “street cred,” “beefed” and “flossing.”

  • A story with a 77 word description of an iPod.
