The Purple Network, otherwise known as The Nation and National Review, is welcoming a third publication to their rendezvous: CQ Weekly.

The key graph in the statement claims that The Purple Network will be more powerful than Politico, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker and even the NYT Sunday edition.

“Combined, the Purple Network will reach more than a quarter of a million print subscribers, an online audience of more than 6 million readers, and, according to the latest Erdos & Morgan Opinion Leader Study, the network will deliver more coverage among those who influence policy and legislation than Politico, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker, and the New York Times Sunday Edition.
