An all staff notice posted on the Washington Post’s internal electronic board today:
For the remainder of this week during business hours, our engineers will be testing the elevators throughout our building. They will put weights in each elevator car and run them from the basement (P-2) to the 9th floor. If you hear any loud noises, please do not be alarmed.
