The morning and evening political newsletter space is competitive and crowded, so The Hill is taking over lunch with an afternoon newsletter. Called The 12:30 Report, it’s headed up by Cate Martel, who joined The Hill earlier this month from Politico.
The newsletter, which debuts today, covers the 2016 elections as well as Congressional and White House happenings, plus some occasional New Hampshire news, in a nod to Martel’s home state. “Our thinking process for The 12:30 Report is to create a newsletter that is fun to read.
