The Daily‘s news team adds Laura Parker to their masthead as the new Washington correspondent.
Her past: Parker previously worked at AOL News and before that, spent 10 years at USA Today as a national correspondent covering major stories such as the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the Florida recount. She worked the national transportation beat for WaPo and Congress for The Detroit News. Last year, she broke news for AOL News on the mining disaster and the oil spill.
