The Atlantic Names Gould Deputy Editor
TheAtlantic.com announces that John Jameson Gould has joined the site as deputy editor, a new position. Most recently managing editor for the Washington PowerMap, a site covering U.S. politics and policy for international clients, Gould will work closely with writers, producers and interns across TheAtlantic.com’s seven thematic channels.
Details on Gould: He was senior editor with McKinsey & Company’s New York-based knowledge group, lecturer at Yale University, associate editor at the Journal of Democracy and Washington correspondent for the Russian Observer.
