The Atlantic EIC James Bennet Is Heading to The New York Times
He'll be the editorial page director.
Atlantic Media Chairman David Bradley has confirmed that Atlantic co-president and editor in chief James Bennet will be leaving for The New York Times after a decade at The Atlantic.
“It is true that it took 100 interviews for me to find James Bennet. What I really found was not one in a hundred, but one in a million. James Bennet recovered The Atlantic. More personal, James Bennet recovered my ownership of The Atlantic,” wrote Bradley in a memo to staff.
