Ted Turner Joins Lennox and Beals at Cannon Reception
CNN Founder Ted Turner, who chairs the United Nations Foundation, joins singers Annie Lennox, Jennifer Beals and a group of congresswoman tonight for a reception in the Cannon Caucus Room on Capitol Hill.
The occasion is a Women Deliver Conference, a three-day-affair to discuss reproductive rights, that ends today.
Invited lawmakers include House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Reps. Jan Schakowksy (D-Ill.), Lois Capps (D-Calif.), Gwen Moore (D-WIs.) and Donna Christensen (D-V.I.).
