Taking Out the Trash

Maria Shriver introduced her new HBO film series on Alzheimer’s disease at an event this morning at the Hay Adams. She shared with the audience, which included NBC’s David Gregory and Norah O’Donnell and HBO’s Sheila Nevins, stories of her father, who has had Alzheimer’s since 2003. We hear there were few dry eyes in the house. Shriver is scheduled to testify before the Senate Special Committee on Aging tomorrow as part of the Alzheimer Study Group.
