Ed O'Keefe Joining Post.com Politics Team

A transition to report from the newsroom: Ed O’Keefe will be joining the expanded washingtonpost.com Politics team, where he will play a lead role in producing podcasts and working with Jason and our Multimedia team on a variety of what we hope will be regular politics programs — video, audio, interactive galleries etc. His on-air reporting background will almost certainly be useful as the 2008 election cycle heats up later this year. With Jessica Doyle’s departure to Washington Post Radio, Ed’s services became available, and given his deep interest in the topic and his skills in multimedia production, adding him to the Politics team was an easy call.
