Suzanne Clark - It is with great appreciation and some personal sadness, that I announce Suzanne will be leaving the Chamber next year. Suzanne will take on a tremendous professional opportunity in January 2007: President of the National Journal Group, Inc. Based in Washington, D.C., National Journal Group is a leading publisher of magazines, newsletters, books and directories for people interested in politics, policy and government. No biographical listing of Suzanne's job responsibilities-operational control of our day-to-day management, leader of Federation Relations and the midcap and small business sales organizations, managing director of the National Chamber Foundation, oversight of all the Chamber's communications, and chair of the management committee-could capture her contribution to the success of this organization. Fortunately, she has built an excellent team we can rely on and which will help ensure the Chamber's success for the years to come. Suzanne and I have worked together for many years both here at the Chamber and at the American Trucking Associations. I have watched her talent and leadership abilities become increasingly recognized well beyond the Chamber. As President of the National Journal Group, Suzanne will further leverage those abilities as she runs her own business.
