Summer Superlatives: Most Cutthroat

I can’t quite decide whether it’s a compliment or insult to be nominated for the Most Cutthroat category of FishbowlDC’s Summer Superlatives 2011.  Does the label imply that you’d sell your granny into sex slavery for a scoop?  Or just a nod to a particularly aggressive approach to journalism?  Either way, your nominees for Most Cutthroat are Politico’s Jim VandeHei, Washington Times’ Eli Lake, NBC’s David Gregory and Politico’s Mike Allen.
