Steve Vogel to Cover Howard County and Military Affairs

We’re very pleased to announce that Steve Vogel is moving to the Howard bureau to cover that county and also share responsibility for Metro’s regional military affairs beat.
In Howard, Steve will help cover an expanding, affluent suburban community whose growth is set to accelerate with the movement of military jobs to nearby Fort Meade.
As a subbeat, he will cover regional military news together with Jackie Spinner of the Virginia staff. In that role, Steve returns to a subject in which he has considerable expertise, having covered the local military beat from 1998 until 2004.
