Sheir Named Host of WAMU 88.5's Metro Connection
Rebecca Sheir, WAMU 88.5’s special features reporter was recently named new host of Metro Connection, the station’s local news magazine. Sheir is replacing David Furst, who has hosted and produced the program since 1999.
Before joining WAMU 88.5 in 2009, Sheir reported for KTOO in Juneau, Alaska and hosted and produced a weekly program on Alaska Public Radio Network.
