Script Shines Through as Hillary Clinton Joins Stephen Colbert on 'The Colbert Report'
Hillary Clinton appeared on “The Colbert Report” last night with host Stephen Colbert for what proved to be one of the worst media appearances related to her blitz for Hard Choices.
The show’s host started off by highlighting instances from the book in which the former Secretary of State “name drops” celebrities and world leaders. After, the likely 2016 presidential hopeful “surprises” Colbert and joins him onstage. In a far too scripted back and forth, the two recall memories with Tom Hanks, George Clooney, and Oprah.
