Nikki Schwab, D.C. political reporter and former gossip girl, has left U.S. News and World Report for the DailyMail.com.
Schwab (at right in the photo with Maura Judkis of The Washington Post) joins the Mail as its U.S. political reporter, covering all things D.C. and all things 2016 campaign.
“It’s always been a dream for me to go out on a campaign trail,” said Schwab, who is preparing for the obligatory stint in an Iowa motel.
Schwab, who has previously written for the Washington Whispers column and the Washington Examiner’s popular Yeas and Nays, is looking forward to putting her experience covering both the wonkish politics and gossip of D.C.
