Savannah Says Being Bad is How You Get to be Good

MSNBC’s Savannah Guthrie was in Tuscon over the weekend to deliver the commencement address at the University of Arizona, her alma mater. While she was there, the Mountain Oyster Club School of Journalism chatted with Guthrie about leaving her job covering Washington politics to host the third hour of the “Today Show.” She admitted, “It’s hard to leave Washington. I love covering the White House. I love covering politics. But I’m excited for this new adventure.”

Guthrie looked out at the sea of students and said, “You look so good in your cap and gown I think I’m just going to take a picture real quick.”
