Sally Field in DC Tomorrow

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, and Oscar-winning actress Sally Field will be in town on behalf of the Vital Voices organization to promote mentoring among women leaders. Field will be leading the Global Mentoring Walk for Women in DC, an event which convenes established female leaders and emerging women leaders to walk in their communities. The walks are also held in 40 other countries around the world. The idea is to encourage women in these countries to help one another achieve their goals through conversations and mentoring, and to become a visible and influential part of their communities.
